Booking Fee

Please GET IN TOUCH prior to paying your booking fee, to confirm that I have space in the diary in the lead up to your big day.

WHAT IS COVERED IN THE BOOKING FEE?...

Your welcome pack - this will be posted shortly after receiving your booking confirmation

Samples - Please include information in the comments section at checkout, as to which style you are leaning towards and colours that are playig a part within your day. Please include as much information as possible as the samples will be made bespoke to you.

Consultation day appointment if required.

TIMELINE AND EXPECTATIONS...

You will be invited to a consultation day approx 3-6 months ahead of your wedding date. Here we can sit and discuss all of your ideas and start looking to finalise style and design ideas. If you are unable to make the appointment, live too far away, or would rather continue the order via e-mail discussions, this is of course absolutely fine to do and is done in many circumstances.

At 3 MONTHS before the big day, I need you to have finalised your order with me. This includes style and quantities. Full payment is due at this point and I will ask you to send any confirmed information and wording over as soon as possible.

1 MONTH before the wedding day marks the deadline for the table plan information - I always leave the table plan until last!

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING:

Your booking fee is non-refundable and will not be deducted from your final invoice.

Instead, you will receive a bespoke welcome pack with samples tailored to the information you provided on the booking form. You will also receive an invitation to a private consultation appointment. If you are unable to make the appointment, a FaceTime or Skype call will be offered.

3 MONTHS PRIOR TO YOUR WEDDING/EVENT DATE

Full order and payment is due if not already received. Final wording details are not required at this stage but I will now allocate all materials to your order and make a start on more generic pieces for which I know the details (table numbers, welcome sign, cake menu etc).

Once payment has been made, due to all items being bespoke, no refund will be given.

1 MONTH PRIOR TO YOUR WEDDING/EVENT DATE

All final details are now required. This includes Table Plan and Order of the Day information.

Once the order is complete and ready for collection (from NR11 6WD), I will let you know and we can arrange a convenient time. Alternatively, items can be sent via courier. This is an additional fee, usually £20 but dependant on total order and weight of complete parcel.

CANCELLATIONS/POSTPONEMENTS

You may cancel prior to your final order and payment being received with no additional costs involved. Your booking fee will not be refunded.

If you cancel your booking once payment has been received, you will not be entitled to a full refund. Instead, you may be entitled to a partial refund depending on how much work has been completed towards your order.

Subject to availability, you may postpone your booked date after you have paid your booking fee and before your final order has been placed.

If you postpone your wedding or event date after your confirmed order and payment has been received, I will try my best to allocate this. Some pieces may have been dated already, in which case there will be a small additional fee to remove, prepare and apply new date. All items will continue to be made to the original booked date and I will store all items if required.

UPDATE: COVID 19

As of Monday 16th March 2020, I will not be dating any completed pieces until you are absolutely certain your wedding or event is still going ahead on the original date, and you are ready for me to complete the order in full.

If you postpone your wedding to 2021, please let me know at the earliest opportunity. If you have not yet placed your final order and payment has not yet been received, I may be able to transfer the entire booking to the new date.

If you have placed your final order and have now needed to delay your wedding or event, I will continue will all generic items and complete the order without dates. I will then store all pieces and apply final details when you are ready for me to do so.
