About Us

We are husband and wife team, Stuart and Amie, living and creating in the Norfolk Countryside with our two daughters.

We create bespoke wedding signage and personalised gifts, designed completely with you and your wedding in mind. Every piece is hand made and hand finished, so completely unique - like our couples!

WHERE DID THE BUSINESS NAME COME FROM?

In early 2021 we moved into our forever home, which inspired us to rebrand from 'For Keeps' to LAUREL HOUSE DESIGNS. We are very different to many other signage companies, as we also create personalised gifts and home decor alongside the luxury range of signage, so we wanted a business name that covered all of our creations but also meant a lot to us.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE BIT ABOUT WORKING IN THE WEDDING INDUSTRY?

Every couple is so different and every wedding so personal. We thrive on the challenges that come with that, as well as all of the ideas that couples like you trust us with.

Amie completes all of the design work which means she gets to work really closely with you, throwing ideas, sketches and photos back and forth, making your dream wedding a reality - what is not to love?

WHAT IS YOUR MOST POPULAR RANGE AND WHY DO YOU THINK THAT IS?

The acrylic range is extremely popular due to its versatility and endless possibilities, designs and colours that can be used to create personalised pieces.

The painted back acrylic is the most popular within the range. It compliments so many other gorgeous wedding trends and can be a great way of adding or continuing colour to your day. It is great to work with too.

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATION FROM?

YOU! There will often be a little something that you mention that will trigger an idea for a design or even a new product.

WHY DO YOU LOVE TO CREATE?

Amie has always been a very creative person and being able to turn that into something that makes others happy is a wonderful thing. Stuart joined the team full time in 2021 and is enjoying the practical element and challenges that comes with creating the larger pieces. But most of all, we both have a job that we absolutely adore and we hope that shows though in our work.

WHAT ONE PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLE?

Share as many of your dreams and ideas with your suppliers as you can, giving them the information they need to make those dreams a reality.
